Today, the offices of the Somali Embassy in Zambia, which had been undergoing renovation for some time, were officially inaugurated.

This project was a self-funded initiative undertaken by the Somali community living in Zambia, led by the Chairman of the Community, Mr. Mohamud Mohamed (Hiiraan). The community has successfully completed Phase One of the construction.

The project was also made possible by Somali businesspeople who provided the funding required for its implementation.

The Chairman of the Community handed over the keys to the completed offices to Ambassador Hawo Mohamed Hassan.

Both Ambassador Hawo and the Chairman of the Community expressed their gratitude to the companies and individuals who contributed to the construction of the Embassy.

Special thanks were extended to the construction company that carried out the building works, a Somali-owned company, particularly to the owner of the company, Sheikh Hassan Ali Mursal.
